Psyonix Reveals New Item Shop Coming to the Rocket League

Earlier this year when Psyonix announced it was removing Loot Boxes from the game, it also revealed an Item Shop -- separate from the eSports Item Shop -- was coming to the game later in the year. Fast-forward, and now the Epic Games-owned developer has revealed a closer look at said item shop. Coming in the big December update, the new store is pitched as "an all-new way to browse in-game items to buy the exact item you've been looking for."

Items can be purchased with Credits — Rocket League's new premium currency. Any keys you currently have in your inventory will be converted to 100 Credits to use in the Item Shop, either on Blueprints or to upgrade to Rocket Pass Premium. Credits can be bought and also earned in Rocket Pass Premium. Psyonix has detailed how much packs of Credits will cost; however, we don't have any prices on individual items just yet.

500 Credits - $4.99 USD or region equivalent
1100 Credits - $9.99 USD or regional equivalent
3000 Credits - $24.99 USD or regional equivalent
6500 Credits - $49.99 USD or regional equivalent

Any keys you still have in your inventory will be converted into credits, with each being worth 100 credits that can be spent in the Item Shop, as well as on crafting blueprints or upgrading your Rocket pass. Credits can also be purchased directly, though only in bundles. To enhance your adventure and compliment your gameplay, you can buy Rocket League Credits Cheap from the reputable sellers 5mmo.com in a safe secure environment and at cheap rates.

To start, the Showroom is out and the Item Shop is in. The Item Shop will be accessible from the main menu. Here, you’ll see Featured items on a 48-hour timer and Daily items on a 24-hour timer. Once the timer expires, new items will enter the Shop. The Item Shop will include all types of in-game items for Rocket League, like Painted Cars, Player Banners, Exotic Wheels, Goal Explosions and everything in between.

All premium DLC packs will no longer be available to purchase after the December update, but may still appear as individual items for sale in the Item Shop. The new update will be rolled out on December 4.
